How do I set up my Coffee machine 1st generation?

The first step to ensure you have downloaded the Smarter app.

Android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=am.smarter.smarterandroid&hl=en_GB

Or you can simply search for Smarter in the Google Play or iTunes store. 

The second step is to create a Smarter account by tapping the icon at the top left of the screen! Please use an active email address. 

Once you have signed up and logged in you will see the app home page. 

The third step is to tap the coffee machine icon then select Setup Homework. 

The fourth step is to plug in your Coffee machine and tap next. 

The fifth step is to ensure you are connected to your home network and tap next. 

The sixth step is to go into your devices WiFi settings, look for then tap the Coffee machine network to connect, go back into the app ensuring to wait for the WiFi symbol to appear at the top of your screen before tapping next. 

You will now see a list of available WiFi networks please find then tap your home network. If you have a dual-band network please ensure that you select the 2.4ghz signal. 

The seventh step is to carefully and correctly enter your WiFi password then tap next. 

The Coffee machine will now connect to your home network!

Once you see the control panel it means you have connected and can start brewing!
