The iKettle 2.0 will cut out between 16 and 20 seconds if boiled dry.

Standard cut out time for kettles when boiled dry is 30 seconds.

Our kettles use a Strix mechanism, which is present in over 2/3 of kettles on the market. This mechanism features two dry blade 100% mechanical boil protection, in addition to our temperature monitoring firmware.
