Why do I need to be on my home network to set up my iKettle 2.0?

This process allows your iKettle 2.0 to have a more stable connection and ensures that you can use the internet at home as well as your product.

You won’t need to switch between the two, as you would on some wireless printers for example.

The iKettle 2.0 is allocated a spot on your router where it will stay connected.

By entering your home network name and password, you are giving permission for your router to allow the iKettle 2.0 to connect.
