Now you can ask Google Home or Google Assistant to turn on your iKettle.
To set up please follow these steps:
- Go to settings in the Google Assistant app
- Select Home control
- Select the “+” icon to see all the Google services
- Find the Smarter Kettle
- Google will now ask you to log into your Smarter account
- Enter your details and Google will now add your iKettle to your Home control device!
You can now boil your kettle by asking your Google Home or Google Assistant on your phone!
With the service, you control your kettle with the name you gave it in the Smarter app.
If you called the kettle ‘kettle’, you can do this:
“Ok Google, turn on the kettle”
“Ok Google, turn off the kettle”
“Ok Google, set the kettle temperature to 70 degrees”
Watch the temperature dial change in the Smarter app.
“Ok Google, turn up the kettle temperature by 10 degrees”
Watch the set temperature change in the Smarter app.
“Ok Google, turn down the kettle temperature by 10 degrees”
Watch the set temperature change in the Smarter app.
“Ok Google, what is the temperature of the kettle?”
Google will tell you the set temperature and the live temperature of the kettle
