Unfortunately, FridgeCam can not see through items. 

If you have items behind each other, the FridgeCam will not be able to see the hidden item, it will notify you saying 'item not found'.

If you know the item is still there you can ignore the message, it will still show up in your inventory. This means that you will still have a complete list of what's in your fridge.
