Just got back from holiday, and my iKettle is not working at all ! .... even through the app and via the button on the base

I am a new user who has ordered an iKettle SOLEY because of the Alexa integration. The lack of the Alexa skill is very disappointing, and whilst I accept these things happen, I would want to know ....
